On Tuesday, December 3, Dr. Samuel Zalanga, Professor of Sociology, examined some specific historical events, social movements and teachings in the Pietist tradition and drew some lessons and provided suggestions on what higher education administrators and faculty can do to translate a Pietist ethos into the theory and practice of Christian higher education.
Dr. Zalanga’s core concern for this presentation was to raise the Christian community’s attention towards the significant impact of economics and the market on the evangelical community and its educational and global efforts.
This is the sixth of a series of presentations on the topic of the Pietist Approach to Higher Education.
