On Tuesday, February 11, Professor April Schmidt presented ways to more effectively and efficiently give feedback on student papers as part of the Talk About Teaching series of presentations. She explored the importance of distinguishing types of feedback (formative vs. summative), the kinds of feedback students absorb (and don’t), and the pedagogical justification for getting through the stack faster.
